The Weekend in Photos: Tali Beach in Nasugbu, Batangas and Other Things

Weekend was spent in Tali Beach in Nasugbu, Batangas with 3 other sisses and 7 brods--Alphan Getaway, indeed. Four of us in the trip are incoming clinical clerks, thus, this getaway would probably our last for quite some time. Perhaps, this is the cherry on top of my week-long vacation (which is spent mostly on doing chores. #maturity).
We decided to meet-up at McDo Katipunan before 7 am so we could leave for Batangas by 7. Guess what time we left? 10 am. Hahaha! We arrived at Tali at around 3 pm.
Here goes the photos that are grabbed from tel's and my facebook. BTW, I took photos using my iPhone. Other photos are still with Kenji, so I will prolly post a part 2 if I won't be busy
We had to pick-up GA at Xavierville, hence, we left at around 10 am. LOL moment kaagad!

Hello there, Tali Beach

Things I love: For the eyes only

Eyeglasses have been quite a necessity for me since college. While I can still read most of the lines in Snellen and Jaeger's, wearing eyeglasses prevents migraine from attacking. I have a .75 OS and .50 OD, which is not very bad as I told you.
I had my first eyeglass, which is a pink half-framed Oliver eyeglasses, when I was in 1st or 2nd year in college. I only have 4 pairs as of this day. I lost my first one in Taft Ave.--it was actually in DLSU Taft after a conference I attended for our thesis.
Here goes my three pairs. I left the other one in the car (jsyk, I am not allowed to drive without eyeglasses. fml.)

Sunshine Cleaning

I live in an incredibly small flat, which looked like a CSI-crime scene-esque during the 2-week exam marathon we had. Hence, I decided to organize all my transes and clean up the flat! Serious cleaning is serious bizniz.

The bedroom where all great things happen--like sleep!

Workstation looks a bit uncluttered now.

The whole 3rd year in very organized clearbooks!
I like my transes organized this way--kept in clearbooks according to subject! I've been doing this since my first year. Such an OC.

Meanwhile, last Sunday I went to Sta. Clara Monastery in Katipunan for my much needed Divine Intervention. Then, I met up with my friend/college thesis partner Boj! I haven't seen him for quite some time now. We went to BHS and Serendra.

Then, we met up with my boyfriend for dinner then that unexpected Tagaytay roadtrip <3

The After-exam and SM finds and hauls

Apparently, BlogBooster 'accidentally' posted these pictures when my phone suddenly lost power while uploading. So what are these pictures all about? Well, it is already our well-deserved vacation. The 2-straight weeks of brain-draining exams are over; hence, I can catch up on my sleeping and relax a bit... or maybe, not yet. I still have to do chores like:

  • Organizing my transes. They are everywhere!
  • Clean the house. My flat is in unutterable mess--much like a crime scene. Tsk.
  • Do the laundry. Or I go commando.
Meanwhile, here are the photos again, if you have seen them awhile ago. These are taken yesterday after our last exam for finals.

Things I love: Instant Soups and Other Finds from Savemore Edition

I've been MIA for a couple of days... or weeks, idk. I've been quite busy with school requirements and exams. I'm done with the 3rd/6th LE though I still have OSCE tomorrow and final exams next week. I'm just breaking this blogging hiatus for my sanity's sake.
Quick trips to SM Savemore have been quite de-stressing for this week. JSYK, I live very conveniently near Savemore--practically a 2-elevator ride to a supermarket. These have been my favorite buys, but not exactly must-haves:

Kitchen88's Puree Soup in Chinese Hot and Sour and Tom Yum Mushroom
Campbell's Instant Soup in Cream of Mushroom
I am a sucker for instant food since I am both busy and lazy to cook. They taste like the real thing! Kitchen88's Puree Soups have been part of my dinner for 2-3 consecutive nights now. Heh. They're quite pricey (Php 79) since they are imported from Thailand. Campbell's Instant Soup are cheaper. Both are very easy to prepare--just add hot/boiling water. How awesome is that.

Villar's Dark Chocolate with Coffee
Chocolate and coffee in one! Need I say more? That's dark chocolate with coffee crispies.

Selecta's Hershey's Ice Cream Collection-Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups is among my favorite chocolates. Imagine that in a chocolate ice cream. The ice cream is actually of Hershey's cocoa. I finished eating this in one sitting-or maybe two. Heh.
