On duty on a Sunday isn't so bad, after all.
I was with my three loves last Sunday--chicken wings, gellato, and the boyfriend.
OK...maybe four to add beer.
This isn't exactly the most secret place to find good food as Madison Square is right at your face along Ortigas Ave. near Xavier School. Madison Square houses Sunrise Buckets for great wings and Mio Gelati for awesome gellato.
It was my first time to try Sunrise Buckets, though I've been hearing a lot of raves about their chicken. Move over, Chicken Charlie and Bon Chon. I've got a new love right hurrr...

I think this was the Sunrise Original Wings. |
I firmly believe that buffalo wings are meant to be eaten with bare hands. Sunrise Buckets is thoughtful enough to provide you with gloves so your hands won't get dirty during the action. But still, where's the fun in that?

I love Buffalo Wings...but, this is an understatement.

Summer mode is ON! I cannot wait for you, summer. |
Mio Gelati was for dessert. I learned about this gellato joint during
Ultimate Taste Test, although I've seen them (but not tried) at Mercato. I love their Mint Truffle gellato...too bad they didn't have that flavor when we visited their branch in Madison Square. So, I tried their Ferrero gelato.

So many choices! |

I used to work a stone's throw away from this but I have never eaten here. huhuhu
